How To Use Solid Gel Adhesive
How to Use Solid Gel Adhesive for Press On Nails
Discover a new way to apply your press on nails using solid gel adhesive — an alternate method to traditional nail glue or sticky tabs. This gel-based system offers superior strength while staying gentle on your natural nails.
Step 1: Scoop a Small Amount
Use a small spatula or the applicator to scoop out a small amount of solid gel. The amount should roughly match the size of your natural nail bed.
Step 2: Spread Evenly
Apply the gel to the back of your press on nail and gently spread it into a smooth layer. Keep it centered to avoid overflow when pressing down.
Step 3: Apply to Your Natural Nail
Press the nail onto your natural nail bed starting near the cuticle and rolling forward to remove air pockets. Align carefully before curing.
Step 4: Cure Under a UV Lamp
Cure under a UV lamp for 2 to 3 minutes or until the adhesive is fully set. Gently tug on the nail to check — if it moves, cure again for another 2 to 3 minutes.
⚠️ Dark coloured press on nails may block UV light, making it harder to cure properly. In those cases, consider using our sticky tabs method or nail glue method for better results.
Why Choose Solid Gel Adhesive?
