How to measure your nails

Clean your nailRemove any polish or old nails so you only measure your natural nail. -
Wrap the tapeWrap the tape around the widest part of your nail, following its curve. -
Line up the 0Put the 0 right on the left edge of your nail, where it meets the skin. -
Read the numberRead the number at the right edge in mm and write it down. Do this for each finger on one hand.
No tape measure? Use sticky tape

Stick the tapePress a strip of clear sticky tape flat across the widest part of your nail. -
Mark the edgesWith a fine pen, put a small dot on the tape at each edge of your nail. -
Measure the gapPeel the tape off, lay it flat on a ruler and measure between the dots in mm. Write it down.

How do I measure my nail size for press on nails?
Lay a soft tape measure across the widest part of each nail, from the left edge to the right edge, and note the number in mm. Then match your numbers to the XS, S, M or L row in our size chart.
What size press on nails should I get?
Choose the size where most of your nail widths match the chart. Everyone's nails are different, so it's worth measuring rather than guessing.
What are press on nail sizes in mm?
Our sizes are based on the width of each nail at its widest point. Thumb widths are 14 mm for XS, 15 mm for S, 16 mm for M and 17 mm for L, and every size has its own width for each finger. See the full chart above.
What if I'm between sizes?

Can I measure with a normal ruler?
Yes. Press a strip of sticky tape across your nail, mark both edges with a pen, then lay the tape flat on a ruler and measure between the marks.
Should I measure both hands?
Measuring one hand is usually enough, as most people's hands are very close in size. If you know one hand has wider nails, measure that hand and size for it.
